07.08.2006: News report from Multivan Merida Biking Team:

Gunn-Rita Dahle Flesjaa and Nina Göhl win in Switzerland and Germany

At the same time when Norwegian Gunn-Rita Dahle Flesjaa wins the final race of the Swisspower Cup in Bern (CH) with a lead of incredible 4.27 minutes, Nina Göhl triumphes at the MTB Bundesliga in Wetter (D). With a lead of over three minutes she won nearly with the same style of her teammate.

In the mens category «Multivan Merida Biking Team» reached two podium positions. In the pouring rain of Bern, Ralph Näf secured behind Julien Absalon the second place while Moritz Milatz has completed the positive team balance with a thrid place at the MTB Bundesliga in Wetter. Last years winner in Bern, José Hermida, has given up the race – like most of the top racers.

Gunn-Rita Dahle Flesjaa, Ralph Näf, José Hermida and Moritz Milatz are now on their way to the marathon worldchampionships next weekend. Dahle is the actual title holder and Näf is after winning the marathon European Championships one of the top favourites. But also José Hermida and worldcup winner Moritz Milatz are competitors who are expected to be seen at the top of the race.
