BEAUTIFUL ART

Artwork on the wall provides warmth and enjoyment in a home. We’ve mounted the first pieces of art on the walls of our new home, after a good one and a half years of totally white walls.

The artist Elin Bekkeheien Nesvik visited us a few weeks ago here in our house, checked out what colour and style we preferred, and measured up the walls that needed some colour. Three weeks later she phoned us and said that she now had five paintings ready for our walls.

Without any demands regarding the effort she was putting down into the work, she really hit the nail on the head where our style and taste is concerned. We bought all five of the paintings she had made especially for us. They fitted in perfectly.

P.S. On Saturday we’re taking part in the race Nordsjørittet. www.nrk.no will be reporting live for all of eight hours from the race, starting at 8:00 in the morning. I’m starting with the first group at 7:50.
